TOS says that Additional Visa or Mastercard Security information may be required on ticket day. On the mastercard site there is no additional security info for Irish card holders, just those in the UK who incidentally don't use credit cards for purchases.

Just wondering what's the dealio here, another SeeTickets oversight? Or further proof that the Irish banking system is the most slipshop, half assed, fly-by-night outfit on the planet, run by inept *ankers?

You're spot on, it is 'verified by visa' which is available to Irish visa users. However mastercard's equivalent is 'securecode' and is only available to Ulster Bank mastercard customers.

My bank doesn't provide the securecode facility so I just have to hope that my card will be accepted on T day and that I'm not automatically asked for any extra details.
