Fuel for the band speculation fire?

Here are guideline prices for a bunch of bands. From Andrew Bird to Snoop Dogg.

http://prettypolly.c...icframeset.html

Interesting that "our" headliners seem to be in the 20-35k bracket.

SURELY EELS AREN'T JUST 10k?!

Book those suckers now. And Fiery Furnaces. Bargain.

- Gomez (25-30)
- Iron & Wine (25-30)
- M.Ward (15-20)

Even be tempted by:

- Matt Nathanson (20-25)
- Ray Lamontagne (35-45)
- Xavier Rudd (20)

P.S. Apparently, these are prices for US college-kinda gigs and many of them can be got for much cheaper (or in some cases more).

Wonder what kind of budget EOTR has to play with?

Could be in the region of 150-200k, I would think. Though I freely admit I'm pulling that number out of my magical chasm.

I can't believe that Ben Kweller is commanding 25-30K. I mean, he's good, but in the same bracket as BSS? I mean, there's about 50 of them and they must all get a cut. You'd think Ben would be able to afford a hair-cut on that sort of money. Maybe some jeans without holes in them. The youth of today!

I'm trying to work out how you know I am swarthily good looking (and am not entirely sure that's a good thing to be  :( ) - but I'm not *quite* old enough to have used old money - unless I was buying some penny chews out of my pocket money :(  :P
