So Jay-Z was on the Andrew Marr show this morning talking mainly about American politics and rap, but inevitably the subject of Glastonbury comes up. Glad he sees it as such a great moment in his career, there was definatly a defiant atmosphere that night and think it will be a gig I'l always remember, if not just for the video/wonderwall/99 problems opening.

I actually watched his set on Youtube earlier, it really was a great festival moment. If Beyonce was to play next year as I believe Eavis has said, it would be a nice touch if Jay-Z came out and did Crazy in Love with her or something especially if he loved it as much as he said.

I think its quite touching that such a huge artist who has done so much speaks so fondly of his performance. Most acts just see it as another festival but Jay-Z over a year since he headlined still seems to be talking about it all the time!

Nope I think Eavis said he was going to ask her earlier this year, might be mistaken though. Probably wont happen anyway.
I'd go and watch her.
