yes,
Obviously I am extremely extremely excited. Because I have some great news to share with you all today. My favourite band in the ENTIRE world Pavement have reformed to TOUR THE WORLD. Obviously this means that there will be some kind of stop in a feild in Somerset? Thoughts? Personally I would fly over to new york just to see these guys because I basically worship them as gods because Malkmus and his cronies are a bunch of living legends who deserve more sucsess. (Actually thinking about it, they can stay underground). I absolutely adore this band they are the best band ever, ever ever ever. They are like the beatles of the Ninetys, f**k Oasis, these guys were the proper 90s Beatles. As you can probably tell I am extremely over excited now and it will take a while for me to properly calm down.

Also, Just to prove to you that my news is NOT fake:

Clickedy Click Click Click

What do you guys think about them playing Glasto?

Cheers,
BlackHole2006

didn't they play coachella last year?

they're in it for the cash, which is fair enough, but I doubt Glastonbury could offer them the money they'd want.

Nah they didn't play coachella in the end mate cause They said they wanted their first gig back together to be really special, a.k.a not a festival. So what could be better than playing in New York infront of thousands of fans?

You also want to listen to "Terror Twilight" too, especially the song Spit on a stranger.

good shout, but got to be honest, I prefer Carrot Rope off that album.

Great band anyway you slice it, though.

I did like pavement back in the days and also liked that so called rivalry that the nme or the like whipped up between them and sebadoh.

Both great bands and I would be sure to see malkmus strutt his stuff if they play glastonbury

it's looking a little more promising.

http://www.nme.com/news/pavement/47466

'Guitarist Scott 'Spiral Stairs' Kannberg explained that the five-piece would be heading to Britain too, and that the jaunt could include the a slot at Glastonbury festival, where they last played in 1999, the year they split up.'

Yeah, was wondering where they could play. I reckon maybe somewhere on Pyramid, 4th or 5th? Or headlining one of the smaller stages. Either way, I'll be there. Quality band.

Don't want to piss on your parade and be all negative but the Glastonbury reference appears to be made up by NME. It says later in the article "Kannberg did not reveal specific details of the UK live shows" which would seem to contradict a possible Glastonbury slot.
Regardless Pavement at Glastonbury would be great (their 1999 appearance was the last time I saw them), but it's not essential for me as I much prefer them indoors somewhere.
