Looks like Elfy was right.  All sold out of early bird tickets even the extra ones, so those of us here, are it.  I like the idea of letting Early birds in to the festival early that got a mention on another thread.

Anyway, lots to discuss over the next 11 months i'm sure

Dunno when they went on sale or sold out before but looks they were still available into October last year. ( on an old forum thread)

Anyway in the absence of another relevant thread I saw Neko Case in Portsmouth last week.  She was OK. Not great tho.  Didn't see her at EOTR so made up for that.  More importantly, seeing Mumford and Sons in Southampton on 8th October.  Should be superb.  Looking forward to that.  Will obviously post review after.

Looking forward to spending the next 11 months researching  all the bands I missed this year and those that could be on the agenda next.  Could get expensive

I'm going to the Southampton Mumford & sons gig too. I only saw the last song at EOTR as I chose Ohbijou instead so looking forward to the gig. Everyone I spoke to said they were brilliant at the festival.
Deadstring brothers/2 fingers of firewater/the family on the 29th sept should be another good talking heads gig if you're local to soton.

Can't believe they've sold out of early birds already i was waiting for our credit card cut off date today so we would have another month to pay but missed the boat
Emailed Sophie to confirm i've missed them and she said they've all gone even with a bigger allocation of early birds than last year!

Liarliar and Mrs Liarliar are early birders!

First time this year...and its certain to become our festival of choice, seeing as Latitude was so disappointing this year.

Me and my mate enjoyed it so much this year (even with my dodgy leg), we have decided to come back next year.
