How about in honour of the first Glastonbury Headliners,
the late Marc Boland and T Rex we have Too Rex somewhere at the festival
http://www.toorex.com/
II have seen them a few times and they are pretty good.
They have been around for a long time and play a lot of gigs.
Maybe we could even have them first up on the Pyramid stage on the Friday.
It would be a great start to the festival.
I know it is a tribute act but we had Bjorn Again first and it is the 40th anniversary
What do people think?

I think this could be really cool. Bjorn Again seemed to go down quite well even though it was grey and raining, I certainly enjoyed them and it was a bit of a laugh.

Well I e-mailed the festival office and suggested it.
They said they would pass it on.
My mate plays bass for them so it would be great for him.
Off to catch up with him when they play the Half Moon at Putney on Saturday night.

That's cool and I could definitely see it happening considering Eavis mentioned T. Rex/Bolan in his interview from today, he obviously has fond memories.

T.Rex is at the festival every year. Perhaps not the T.Rex you're thinking of tho .... T.Rex is the name of my son.
Yes, really.
