We're pleased to reveal that tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2010 will go on sale at 9am on Sunday 4th October, via www.seetickets.com and through the dedicated phone line, 0844 412 4635. Full weekend tickets cost £185 + £5 booking fee (plus £4.95 postage). As in previous years, anyone aged 13 or over who wishes to buy a ticket MUST be registered. If you want to check what your registration number is, or when your registration is valid until, click here. If you need to register, head over to www.glastonburyregistration.co.uk - allowing at least 48 hours before you intend to buy a ticket.
Following its successful introduction last year, our deposit scheme will once again be in place, giving customers the option of paying a deposit of £50 to reserve a ticket, with the full balance due by the
closing date of February 28 2010. Or, you can buy the full ticket outright from 4th October.
Please note, you may be asked for additional Visa or Mastercard security information when you buy your tickets online, so it's best to make sure you're signed up to your card's security service before you buy. Please click here if you use Visa, or here for Mastercard/Maestro.
For the full lowdown on all things tickets and registration, please go to our new 2010 Ticket Info page.

Dunno if all banks are the same but with my bank cards you can sign up for their verify service so that when you buy something online you have to supply a password as well as all the usual card numbers.
With see tickets can you set up an account in advance like you can with ticketmaster?

i think it means verified by visa / mastercard securecode - some places enforce the use of these, just enroll your visa/mastercard in whichever is applicable in time for buying tickets...in case it does ask you to use either vvv/mastercard secure

This fills me with mucho concern I'm afraid
I've avoided registering my debit card with Verified By Visa for years because some peeps always seem to have problems when Glasto ticket buying every year with the extra verification screen that pops up - or perhaps more to the point, doesn't pop up as the case may be. My credit cards have all been registered for years and I've never had any problems at all anywhere but I generally only use the debit card for Glasto and train tickets so managed to avoid registering it (and therefore avoid any potential issues) until recently when I got forced into registering the d@mn thing somewhere or the purchase would be cancelled. Here's hoping See have the extra security thingy sorted properly this year and I'm not going to get any grief on T-Day ... or there will be tears and mucho stamping of feet !
