Great festival, loved it and have already booked for 2010.
There was a dancey track played between bands on The Garden Stage that was just great but I can't track it down. It was mostly male vocal, featured heavy bongo, had an oriental-ish female vocal to the chorus and the only lyric I can remember is "you were wasted when you called me".
I loved it.
Any help finding what this was would be massively appreciated.

I'm not sure about that one, but was it me or did Talk Talk's "It's My Life" get more of a singalong before Fleet Foxes than they managed themselves?
What a horrible sentence but hopefully you know what I mean.

I think you might be right! Much as I loved the Fleet Foxes I did find their endless faffing between tracks counter-productive in terms of taking us all on a musical journey. Whereas "Wildbirds & Peacedrums" on the Big Top Stage were the exact opposite. Such energy that I needed a lie-down once they'd finished. Awesome.

Ah. Yes. Now sorry, that might've been mostly me! I was a little bit herbal cigged and decided to show the 'kids' in the audience that this was the definitive version of the song, from a place called the '80's'!
They played it twice too in the interval between OR and FFs...unless that was just me with a very long mental delay pedal working...!

That was 'Sober Driver' by Dengue Fever. Great band. Check out their album 'Venus On Earth'.

Heh, no, it definitely played twice, because I sang along both times. Great song.

I've just checked out the album "Venus on Earth" and the track I was after is actually "Tiger Phone Card" but thank you, Scott Power, you have made me very happy indeed!

There was a track that came round a couple of times that's been bugging me. I think it was played once while everyone was waiting for the Fleet Foxes.
It was an old bluesy number that had a line similar to 'You spend a long, long time getting old' in the chorus. I recognise the voice but can't place the artist. Anyone any ideas?
