Hi everyone, I'm a third year design student looking at the needs of festival-goers in order to create a new and innovative product for people like you. I have been talking to festival organisers including Glastonbury and would really appreciate the input from people who actually go to the festival. The survey should only take a few minutes Click Here
If you could also get people you know to take the survey I will be forever in your debt, who knows I might buy you a beer one day!
Thanks a lot!
Rob

Done but the Festival market is pretty saturated at the moment so it will be pretty tricky to find a new idea but fair play if you come up with something good

Cheers guys, the response to this has been amazing! I actually only expected a handful of people to bother. I'm hoping this will lead somwhere interesting as it is going to consume my entire third year of University.

Done but not a great survey.... several questions don't have the right options e.g. well I would never ever take a stove to Glasters, Reading or BD but I would definately take one to smaller festies like Llama. The same goes for a lot of other questions... I'd take a nice tent to BD but not to V. Dome tent or pop-up tent? hmmm well not many would take a tipi but quite a lot would go for a monster family tent type thing. Also who is going to answer that they spend less these days?
Anyway just a bit of constructive criticism... I would go for more detail when you have a better idea of exactly what you're aiming to find out.

Done and if you want more input to your work come back quick as there tends to be a number of people who use this site for Uni work.

Done! Any chance of posting the results here at some point when it's done? I'd be interested to see what the results were like.

no campervan option - i don't tend to leave my campervan behind, or buy a new campervan every year.

I spend less than I used to!
I'm better organised and take more stuff with me. Spirits instead of lager - I can carry more (both to, and around, the festival) & it lasts better (I can sip at a strong vodka and coke in my pocket for half a day, wheras a can of lager is gone in under half an hour, and then I'm out there paying upwards of £3 a pint).
We take breakfast stuff like sausages & bacon and really enjoy cooking ourselves something at our tent in the morning. It's like part of the whole "great outdoors" thing. This sees us through to tea time when we will have one substantial meal costing about £5-6. When I was younger I would graze on crap costing £3-4 a time all day long and spend far more.
In the late 90's I was spending £150 - £200 at Glastonbury and I was only going on Friday. This year I spent just over £80 from Wednesday to Monday, and about another £20-£30 on the food & drink we took with us.
Something useful for us would be something to keep food and drink cold.

Cheers guys the comments are greatly appreciated. I understand that some of the questions are a bit vague, and I am thinking of either doing a more in depth survey or possibly looking at trying to get an online focus group together to get much more in the way of opinion. I have now closed this survey as otherwise survey monkey are going to start charging me!
Thanks again
