 When i went to see the fleet foxes i was massively disappointed they were slow taking long breaks inbetween each song so the played a decent song and then just as is was getting interesting they stopped WHAT THE HELL? and the lead singer/Guitarist Robin Pecknold Was being almost patronising i was really sad because i saw the fleet foxes because the horrors were cancelled and they were just plain boring.

At least you managed to see them! We weren't let in as security had decided that the garden stage area had reached it's capacity at 9.35pm and for 'Health & Safety' reasons they closed entry for anymore people and were then doing one in one out!
We were gutted, did think about trying to get round the back through the woods but it was so dark round there we couldn't see

That would have happened to me had Efterklang's slot not been moved (which I was originally pretty annoyed about but Okkervil River were good too :P)

patronising? dont know what gig you where at, the guys were brilliant. if you wanted patronising you should of gone to the horrors gig. oh they didnt turn up. hmmmmmm wondered if they realised they'd pull a crowd of about four!

I disagree...some of the banter (especially from Tillman) made the set "different" and thus (for me) enhanced the overall experience...thought the end of Mykonos was truly beautiful...those them there guys do more than just harmonies methinks!! :P

I was lucky that i wanted to see Okkervil River before Fleet Foxes so i was in there early... i had a feeling that it might get packed, they didn't disappoint me as they did at glasto but to be fair they where booked on the pyramid stage which was a tad too big for them IMO maybe Jazz World or The Park would of suited them... but anyway yeah i thought they put on a great show at EOTR the thing about leaving the teabag in for so long was funny.

I'm not a big fan by any stretch, but I thought they were excellent after a slow start. The banter was good, the harmonies were superb and they pulled it out the bag for me. Like many others, I was there for Okkervil River anyway, so had no trouble in getting in.

same, except I got to freeze my arse off on the disabled platform. You get a good view up there.

Mixed views for me - when they played a song it was often magical, but they lost the chance to build a special atmosphere with the long pauses.

from what i saw once everyone stood up at around the third song, the queue outside subsided quickly....
but then I was mostly supping cider.....

I'm not a massive fan but thought they put on a really good show.
The tea bag banter was brilliant.
I'm not sure I would go out of my way to see them again though. I can't imagine there's a great deal of variation from show to show.
But I might be wrong..

This was my third time seeing them, and I'd have to say you're right. I was a bit disappointed about The Horrors cancelling because of the similarity between FF shows, but this was them at their best, so I can't complain

Gaps between songs are normal for them, so I doubt they put them in to deliberately stretch out the set - if I remember rightly there were a few songs missing anyway, so the gaps weren't necessary.

Oh too much to say too little time. I just think that Okkervil River should have headlined and Fleet Foxes woud have been better with the second slightly shorter slot and less time
