Just got a Tweet to say The Mummers have had to pull out. So that's unfortunate news.
However, EUROS CHILDS has been brought in as a replacement. Which is awesome news!

Actually from the tone of the announcement it seems clear there's a pretty horrible reason.....so big love to them and hope to see them back soon.

That's really bad news. Was going to be one of the highlights for me. What was the reason that they pulled out?

Gutted!
I missed them at Glastonbury this year too. Hope everything's cool.

Saw Mummers at Wychwood earlier in the year and they were superb (got some ace snaps as well), so I was really looking forward to seeing them again. Euros Childs though, more than makes up for it.

Very glad we caught them at Latitude.
Hope whatever the problem is is sortable, and that they're back on form soon. Does sound worrying

"Tragic and unforeseen circumstances" according to their website. Sounds a bit grim and now I feel a bit guilty about having my afternoons entertainment as a first thought.

Hopefully things aren't as bad as they might be.
On a sidenote, Euros clashing with Projectors?? NO. I've never missed him when it hasn't been necessary before, but the DPs must come first.

Wow - I saw an Argus billboard about this recently. Didn't realise it referred to the Mummers.

Very sad.

Really sad news. I now feel very honoured and humbled to have been lucky to have seen what may well have been one of the last performances by the Mummers with Mark at Latitude.
RIP.
