However, I do know that they would do it, without being given a headline slot, which is a bit annoying seeing as though they aren't as big as they were but they do sell a lot of tickets when on tour both in Europe and in the States.
So, what does everyone think, would they be able to do it or do you think their demands would be too big?
Also, does anyone know about the falling out Eavis and the band had? It seems Robert Smith and Eavis at one time were great mates. I know Eavis made some comments about the bands headline performances being poor but I honestly think thats bullshit on his side because he invited them to headline on three different occations which makes me wonder what else went on because I don't see the logic in booking a band to headline that he previously thought were poor. Wasn't there something in 2004 as well? It seemed almost certain the band were to play but then there was a change?
