I was wondering, is it possible to go to leeds festival tonight, and set up my tent tonight (getting wristband etc). And then leave the campsite tonight. As i have work tomorrow, but in the centre of leeds and the original plan was to just go tomorrow evening late on. But i figured if i could go and set up tonight it would give me a better camp position, and obviously less stuff to haul around tomorrow.

Short: Can i leave the campsite once i have got my wristband over night?

Any help, would be appreciate. Many thanks, scudz.

This is going to sound blatantly obvious, bus I've not ever been in this situation before with a festival so I'll ask to put my mind at rest.

I won't be arriving until Friday at about 1pm, I'm assuming that there'll still be folk at the gates to give me my wristband etc? I'm usually one of the first there at TITP.

Yes, don't expect it to be easy finding a spot for your tent though, I'd advise that you go straight to white, although Im not best place to say that as a non camper these days, may be best to add a new topic asking the best place to get a spot turning up late

Nah it's all good, my mates left today to do all the donkey work.    I could only get the Friday-Monday off work so I'll just be bringing myself and some emergency supplies if the guys run out before Friday.
