to all of u that were at weston park n agreed it was an absolute RIP OFF and tried to get there cans in off the campsite into the main arena... what was the best way u did this?? i shoved cans down me back and covered em wiv me cardi etc.. it worked until MUPPET here was in the arena dancin round wiv a can!!!!  steward caught me n made me neck em straight off:( i still blame him 4 me being wreckt sat haha.... best idea tho goes 2 me m8 tim 4 puttin a bottle of vodka in a pringles tube n gettin it past security that way.... class

Got 'abused' by a jobsworth steward on the Friday night going into the arena who almost had her hands down my pants and had to give up a couple of cans!! Haha!

Sat and Sun - half a litre of wine (plastic bottle) down my bra, another wrapped in my pac-a-mac bag and one down the back of my shorts!! Much harder to get beer into the arena this year but I managed a bit ! xx

No worries, got litre of vodka in each day. They made a bit of an effort on the Sunday but not enough.

I got 2 litres of wine in both days. Had it in a Camelbak type thing on my back, with a waterproof coat over. I looked a bit of a hunchback, but got in fine both days and was never frisked. Think the trick if you're a woman, is to go to the men as they aren't allowed.

But my other half got in with cans of Magners in his socks and another 2 in his back pockets, with just a coat tied around his waist - looked fairly obvious, but again, no frisking involved.

Other friends got wine in,by having bags of it masking taped to their tummy or back. Others got in with vodka just in bottles so it looked like water.

By the sounds of it, we had a lucky escape!

I just walked in with a bottle of vodka in my handbag and a bottle of malibu in the waist band of my leggins and under my uber baggy tunic top thingy!  Easy peasy.

Brilliant - am getting ideas for next year too!

My sis got a genuine bottle of water taken off her while I walked in right in front of her with a bottle of not so genuine water in my hand!

We managed to get the wine bags in too - strapped to our backs, in the waistband of trousers and wrapped up in a picnic blanket thingy.

They did try a bit harder on the Sunday but we sailed in - we split up and my OH pretented to be on his phone and was ushered right through with full wine bag of rose!

The services of my wellies were used quite often, 'tis easy, no-one checks wellies!!

I wrapped my archers and lemonade (in a water bottle) in my poncho and shoved it in the bottom of my bag covered by the rest of my stuff.

i put cans in pringles pots for first couple of days,then that got caught wen the stewerd ask for a crisp! i also stacked up a few used beer cups abd hid cans between them.

Thanks for owning up to being a V marshall person.  Can you explain why some of you find it appropriate to touch us ladies up on the pretence of "searching" us!?  Hmmm?????

Not just the ladies, on the south car park they patted me down (do I look dodgy?) twice - in fact one steward was a bit too clinical so I asked if he realised he'd been moved from the hot dog stand  - got a load of abuse back... sense of humour bypass. 2nd time I told him if he did it again he'd have to buy me flowers and he threatened to launch me from the site! Dick... Before that I'd walked in with a multi-tool in my back pocket which they completely missed so hardly the sharpest of tools.

In the arena just camelbak'd it in although someone was made to bin one as the steward was a tool and said no soft drinks just water!
