Why should there be? Ignoring the fact that it's a music festival, it's not primarily or exclusively marketed at the people of North London and Surrey.

everyone has to calm down on the moaning for this one. I'm not moaning and i'm missing watching the game at ot and getting paid for it lol. sometimes these things just clash, all it means is that i'll have something to watch other than the music highlights when i come home from the festival.

Seems to me that it's a music festival marketed at kids from surrey suburbs who are able to make massive withdrawls from their parents to go away for a weekend and ironically celebrate their independance by getting drunk and vandalising shit... I should know! Being from the mean streets of Woking I can sense when the local rich kids are excited about something....Why should there be? Man I'm talking bollocks today

I've been to the pub to watch the football a couple of times whilst at Reading. It's sometimes nice to go to the pub, have something to eat, a cold beer in a glass and watch the football before going back into the madness.

I'm hiding under a rock when it comes to football after last nights charade.
We're only playing Bolton on Sat afternoon anyway, so I'll just catch the result on the radio sometime later. I wouldn't of been able to do much more if I was home (except maybe find a stream online).
Arse Manure will be a 1 all stalemate anyway.

when i first heard about it i was gutted, but then just thought f**k it, pretty sure all the other years i've been going it's been away days, shame it's arsenal as it's usually a classic but as i said, when i'm there dead to the world on monday, watching the game, wouldn't have it any other way.

There'll be another Arsenal vs United game later in the season, there's only one Reading/Leeds!

Wont be watching it but am hoping to take my phone and be getting updates on it, think its gonna be on around the same time as Ian Brown who i am desperate to see so it will be a nice distraction for me then i can see the result come in when getting smashed b4 Prodigy. Come on United! Owen and Rooney to get a goal a piece. Just hoping for a good result, was alright last year as when I got home from Reading United were playing Pompey away, wish was the same this year

At Leeds I reckon you're knackered. When I did Reading in 1996 I found a nice boozer nearby to watch the Blackburn 2-2 (Solskjaer's first game/goal) but at Leeds in 2005 (Newcastle A 2-0) and 2007 (Spurs H 1-0) it was a case of either going all the way back into town on the shuttle or relying on the texting benevolence of my mates (the latter, as it will be this year with the presence of Gaslight Anthem)

Leeds is a fair distance from the nearest boozer... your best bet would be to take the Tesco Shuttle about 20mins each way and £2 and watch it in one of the pubs in Seacroft... however... they don't seem like the friendliest places, but I dunno!
Alternatively, head towards the campervan field and find one with a dish, then bribe the owner with beer!

Leeds generally isn't the friendliest place to watch United. Or anyone, but especially United. At least Lids are away that day.

Gonna find somewhere in Reading to watch the Celtic game tomorrow. Could catch the first half against United and still see all the bands I wanna see, but i know i'll end up watching the whole game. If Maccabees were on 20 minutes later it would be perfect! Internet on my phone for updates it's gonna have to be I think. I bet United fans are relieved King Nasri isnt playing this time

I'm avoiding the football till I get home. My hope of Hamilton Accies getting an upset against Rangers are about the same as Axl Rose coming on for a few tunes with Them Crooked Vultures.
