Hey fellow v festival goers, this was my first year at v, and the thing that struck me was the weather. Boiling during the day and frezzing at night, so at night i just seemed to put on everything i had haha and like tights and socks
so what was everyone else like, how many layers did you have to wear at night? just a bit of fun

What I love about festival camping is going to sleep around 3am in 2 pairs of socks, a hoody, a t-shirt and a pair of shorts because its absolutely freezing, and then waking up at about 6.30am because the tent has miraculously turned itself into a sauna over the space of about 3 hours and its just too hot to sleep!

Completely agree with you on that...
Friday night I was freezing and struggled to sleep but by 7am it felt like the tent was on fire!!
Felt my sleeping bag wasn't warm enough so the following night swapped with my mates duvet and was all toastie!!
Duvets are the way forward me thinks... plus... much more room to move around.... sleeping bags too restricting!!!!

the nights where super cold, i wore jeans all my t shirts and a trackky top i was in bits LOL. woke up in the morning thought i was cooked just needed one more hour in there and you could put a form in me lol
i think i need to look into a better sleeping bag or even a ultra thick duvet

On the friday night i was freezing and had my hoodie 2 tshirts my scarf and leggings, pj bottoms and 2 pairs of socks plus being in my double ready bed but was still cold then sweating as soon as the sun came up.
Sat night was ok then sunday night i was freezing again!!
I brought a blanket from the cozy campers shop on sat night and it was def needed on sunday night.

I must go down as the least layers of clothes! All i wore at night was a pair of shorts like normal!
I took a hoodie it never came out the bottom of my bag.
