what time does the bar in white close / the bars outside the arena? The ones outside arena stay open after music stops dont they?

More atmosphere and noise. The closer to the arena the more lively an area generally is.

At Reading we usually camp in Brown around D or G. A bit of a trek but fairly quiet and hassle free plus don't have to get there stupidly early to pitch up in a good spot.

Grass was real nice and bouncy in red today!  Will make for comfy sleeping if you only bring a roll mat with you.

basic rules i'd say is avoid yellow, avoid being near toilets/entrance/exits to the various sites and that the further back you go from the arena the quieter it will be..

white is the designated 'quiet' campsite so is further away, but now they've built the bridge it's easy enough to walk to the arena (used to be that you'd have to get a boat over the river).

i'd say maybe the middle/back end of brown/purple? it's where i normally camp with whoever i'm with, there's people around but it avoids all the carnage. my favourite area anyways, but that is just my opinion!

Guest camping ftw  :P

seriously though, as far away from the arena as you can/want, not near toilets, water, or bushes. preferably not on a hill. my sister's tent last year was on a hill and her and her mate ended up soaking as they and the water ended up in one end of the tent. good luck.

Hey, if I camp in Purple/Green which is what my friends are planning to do, how long will a walk between campsite and arena take roughly?

Excited  :P
