I'm too old for camping so will be using a travelodge at Rugeley which is about 17 miles east of weston park. So is the best idea to tavel in by car and use the official car park or is there a better option? How's the traffic for day attendees?

I'm on a day ticket this year,i'm so tired of it always raining! I haven't done it for a couple of years, but my sister in law was on weekend without camping last year & drove in from Wolverhampton & the parking was fine. Although i think it's always better if driving on none-camping tickets to leave before the very end of the Sunday headliner.
