Hi all, i know the rules regarding glass bottles, however, i really can't be bothered to tip everything into plastic bottles, is there a known way of sneaking them in? Last year i managed to get a claw hammer in, so i dont remember them being that strict with checking bags. If i wrapped the bottles in towells and made sure they we're in the middle of my bag would this work do you reckon?
How many of you actually got glass bottles in last year?
Thanks

don't be so lazy... it takes seconds to decant into plastic bottles, and its for safety. i'd much rather fall onto plastic bottles than glass ones and same goes for hitting... you might not be the one who uses the glass in a bad way but it would be you that brought it in.

An essential tool at a festival - handy for putting shelves up in your tent! I'm thinking of bringing my sawn-off to bag me a couple of rabbits. Nothing like a bit of stew on a come-down!

Not many people are that pathetic tbh!
I am taking two bottles of Champagne and they do not come in plastic. We are planning on drinking them in the queue (well it's one way of killing an hour) and should we have any left over we will be decanting it into one of the plastic bottles they sell you for like 50p.
Either buy cans or pour the stuff from glass bottles into a plastic one. Its not hard. On saying that, I always see someone with a glass bottle hidden under their jacket or something, making out like they are super cool for breaking the rules. Grow up children.

One year I tried to bypass the plastic bottle exchange, got caught with a litre of JD and they tried to take it off me when they searched my bag. They didn't get away with it and I went and got a plastic bottle, but lesson learned!
The plastic bottles are quality anyway, half a bottle of JD, top it up with coke, put it down your kecks, sneak it into the arena, makes for a good day!
