Hi,

I have friends who were meant to be coming to Leeds this year from Holland. Unfortunately her children go back to school the week of the festival so shes is now unable to attend. She gave me first refusal on her tickets and said "if you know of anyone needing tickets then they can have mine". She doesnt want to make any money from it, is absolutely gutted she and her husband cant come and just wants her money back.

I have 2 friends willing to buy the tickets but they are a bit reserved about actually collecting them. As you know Overseas customers have to collect from the box office. How do we get around the fact my friend has sold her tickets on because she cant attend, so that my other friends can collect the tickets. Is there anything we can do?

Thanks for taking the time to read this, i hope it makes some sense and you can help me out!

Ask her to ring See Tickets and explain the situation. Maybe they can be changed into your name...

I'll try that. The funny thing is I actually did the transaction for her. She couldnt get onto SeeTickets website and i could so she read out her details over the phone to me and I actually offered to have them posted to my house to make things easier, but she decided against it. Oh how much easier it would have been now.

Im sure they will be able to change it into your name. To be honest, I reckon you could probably just go to the ticket collection place and get them yourself by quoting your friend's name. i don't think ID will be required.
