Probably be able to sneak a band in as a special guest; I doubt it but you never know.

None of them will be added as bands now (Pendulum are apparently doing a DJ set at Leeds)
Its just a case of housekeeping needed by Neil and the gang to take them off

if theyre playing a DJ set perhaps the whole band will play if someone pulls out.

Doubtful, the band and DJ team are two completely different sets of people, There are a lot of times where they do a DJ set in one side of the country and the band are at the opposite

NO MORE BANDS WILL BE ADDED
even if a band pulls out now they will just push up bands from the stage below it and have one less on the bbc
So if a mainstage band pulls out, A radio1 tent band will move in its place, which in turn will be replaced by a FR stage band and so on

Secret appearances really annoy me. If Them Crooked Vultures are there I damn well want to see them.
I would rather they not be there at all than be wondering all weekend if I might be missing them at any given time.
Sorry, small rant.

gotta say poor show from neil this year. This place is great for info, but this year there just seems to be a lot of rumours stuck up with no reasoning, and then just left on there. Looks more like a wishlist i'm afraid.

I agree that alot of bands should be took down now but I do believe any rumours must've had some reasoning behind them not just a stab in the dark like other websites.

I understand it's not random stabs in the dark, but in previous years we've at least had an explanation for why x band was rumoured for y lineup. The info this year seems quite dry in comparison.

Thats fair enough and I agree with you but basically anything put up as a Strong Rumour is purely that, a rumour probably with some basis. Until something comes up as TBC I won't get too excited really.

Not true. A7X and Slipknot both pulled out last minute, last year and noone was moved up from another stage, but Bring Me The Horizon (shudders) were added to the lineup.
NME Stage etc all stayed the same.

True and i must admit i was shocked to see them add somebody to the line up. The only thing i would say is that both of those happened the week of the festival so it would have been chaos to change all the line ups around, letting bands know and thus letting the festy goers know
I meant that if a band pulls out say between now and friday I guess they would do like i said
