YES! C4 are showing some sonisphere between 12.10am 1.15am tonight. It will have bits from Metallica, Feeder, Bullet For My Valentine , Limp Bizkit, Avenged Sevenfold and Alice in Chains. This is great for people like me who love the line up but could'nt go. Anyone else taping/watching?

Metallica - Hit the Lights
Linkin Park - New Divide

Taking Back Sunday - some shit new song I've never heard of

Now it's Machine Head - Halo
Yes apparently I have nothing better to do on a Friday than provide a running commentry of tv coverage of a festival I was at...

Anthrax - Anti-Social
Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff
Nice to see coverage that actually shows full songs instead of f**king about with segments and interviews halfway through
Adverts...
Bullet for my Valenting - Scream aim fire - cut short I can only assume just to disprove what I said above
Metallica - Fade to Black
Got bored changed to film4 for a bit to watch Naked Gun 3
Flipped back... still the same song, don't get me wrong, I love metallica and ftb, but I'm just not in the mood.
Still going... think this might be the last song of the show...
Yep credits are rolling.
Meh

yeah, itwas a bit poor I'll be honest. Can't see why they cut SAF short to do random shots of the croud, was very pointless. the whole show was too short. Also, they didn't do half of what was advertised - No Avenged Sevenfold (not that I mind), only two metallica songs when their site said there would be three etc. I don't mind it being two, just don't lie about it! and WHY did they bother with Dead by Sunrise? that could of been a good song by a better band, like Skindred, Airbourne or H+H

Was truly dissapointed with the coverage. Cutting off Bullet For My Valentine mid song was stupid and with Mettalica! Wha!? No Master of Puppets or Enter Sandman! I'm not a Linkin Park fan but their fans would have been appaled with the coverage. A new song and a song by Chesters side project! Only airing one song of Taking Back Sunday wasn't good {a song i dont know or care about at that} Need better coverage next time.

The coverage wasnt great, but im surprised the fest got any coverage at all - especially on a mainstream channel like C4. They could have shown a lot more - obviously a lot was cut though as there was supposed to be some A7X and 3 Metallica songs on it...
Nonetheless, its a good starting point for the festival, so hopefully they up the coverage a fair bit next year.
Also to the above poster complaining about song choice - sometimes the show makers dont get a choice, and its the band themselves that choose what they will let them show. Its probably very likely that LP wanted to push their new stuff, hence their new song, and DBS
