Does anyone know if there will be a Sonisphere in 2010? If so I am there.

There was a competition to win tickets for next year at this years fest, so it looks like they're planning on there being one next year!.

am positive that when the initial announcement was made they stated that metallica were signed up for the next three years exclusively to sonisphere, probably meaning they're playing again in 2011?

If it's there I'm there.

I'd love it if the line up did go that way as I'd save myself a lot of money by not going!! :D

Bit gutted at missing it this year. We had already booked flights and accom to see Metallica in Dublin on the saturday nicht.

Thought it all looked pretty good on the TV. (No footage of the maniac from Airbourne going for a climb tho')

Lot of talk (and evidence..big Nicko spotted and on TV) about Iron Maiden headlining and if they do I am there.

My one concern at the moment, as usual with these big outdoor gigs is what the feck is the script with the golden circle/vip/wristband area at the front of the main stage?
Was it an extra wristband only? (Like Dublin) or is it for everybody to get in anytime if you don't mind a wee queue? (Like TintheP) Or target practice VIP area? (Like in the bad old days)

How was the camp site too?

Cheers folks.

There's no que or anything, you just walk in and out as you please. Camping wasn't too crowded but there wasn't too much of an atmosphere which mean't no real good parties, but meant you could get sleep.

Camping was awesome, the later you turned up the closer you were to the arena and there was still room on saturday! Clean site, great banter and no where near as vast as reading or leeds!!

Awesome weekend!!

Slipknot could also do the Linkin park slot.

I think I said that at the time, imagine half way through a Slipknot show and Corey Taylor and Jim Root de-mask and start knocking out some stone sour tunes. That would be a much more tolerable version of what LP did, largely because people have actually heared of Stone Sour

Tbh I dont want Slipknot as a headliner...

Subheadliner imo...

I'd rather we got maiden, and then either Foo Fighters/MUSE as a softer saturday headliner.
