Ive got to work until 3.30 on Friday ... and am 120mile from V (weston park). Never been before but have been reading I should be getting there early friday!

I dont mind being farish away from the stage (as long as it aint like 5hour walk lol) but would prefer to have a bit of space, dont really wanna be camped near some chavs lol. Don't mind cool neighbours though who we can have drinks with ;).

Is it gonna be a major problem to be getting there at say 6-7ish? ....

Really appreciate any advice!

They are opening the gates at 9am this year rather than 12 as they normally do.  Who knows if this will improve the queuing that goes on down the A5 or not.  Only time will tell.  120 miles will prob take you 2-2.5 hours normally, right?  So that would mean trafficless you would make it at 6pm.  I think you need to add at least an hour.  Maybe more.  If the traffic is as bad as it usually is, you might not make it in for several hours.  My brother dropped some friends off 2 years ago at 4pm.  We live 45 minutes away.  Took him over 3 hours.

As for space, if you dont mind camping in one of the campsites further from the arena, then you should be ok for space.  People who regularly stay in Green say they have lots of room there!

Stay clear of red.  It will be full of chavs.

Weston is quite a compact site so you wont have to walk 5 hours to get anywhere!!!

As the night goes on, they will tell you which areas are full.  Some people dont listen!  The amount of time I see people try to camp in the fire lanes and then get moved on!
