Hm. For someone on here asking "what do I get with a VIP ticket?" you seem to know an awful lot about it! A bit of gloating going on methinks...
(Actually, I have VIP tickets too but no idea what that actually means, won them, didn't buy them - if you have got more info could you post it on here please?)

I was actually asking what the VIP tickets are like, VIP area. The stuff I mentioned came along with the star prize I won at work...As for gloating then maybe a bit, but why not..I never win anything like this and to be going to a music festival in style is pretty special for me...
I've just heard mixed tales of free booze to (as someone mentioned here nice toilets) that's all from the VIP areas...

Well good for you! I hope you've got a great mate to share it all with. Quite a few people have said that you get cleaner toilets, more than enough reason to be glad about it I rekon! Apparently the seating area by the main stage is covered so if it lashes down for the Oasis set we can all be dry (and hopefully clear of all the flying wee...)

Winnebago eh! Lucky you. Congatulations.
You will be up with all the other campervans and caravans and trailer tents then, oh and don't forget
the stewards that come and tell you to take this and that down. (do your head in)
VIp Area has been going down hill over the years (been going last 8 years) And before anyone says anything I pay for my own tickets!
Have to pay £20 to get a VIP wristband and last year all we got was two portacabins with flushing loos a Nandos and a cash bar that was packed when raining (always packed then!!!)
Was worth it for the girls, saved on queing for the loos even before you needed a wee in the arena!!
Campervan area is marked as purple on the map, bit of trek back if it rains, and it usualy does at some point over the weekend, let just hope not as much as last year, woke Sunday morning and found Caravans, trailer tents submerged in two foot of water with everything floating in this lake!
You don't get any nearer to stage, you have to watch with everybody else.
Oh and finally no free booze found in the VIP area, Sorry.
You'll have a great weekend, sorry if i sound as tho im pissing on your fire, just don't want you
being disapointed when you get there, we always have a great time with our Campervan and VIP tickets, as you will.http://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif

Thanks for the heads up and believe me with the fact that I'm going to the festival for free and staying in a winnebago I'm gonna be smiling all weekend...The welcome pack in the winnebago will help...
Dunno if my ticket is different but I've been told that I will be able to watch from side of stage so who knows....I work for Virgin so fingers crossed maybe mine is V.V.I.P.

wouldn't have thought you'll get to watch from the side of the stage especially headline acts think of everyone that will be on their guest list a band like oasis will have probably hundreds of people with them at the side of the stage

Hi again, my vip tickets last year was won by my hubby (who also works for virgin) and honestly you wont get closer.
you will have to pay £20 per person for the tickets though (even if they are won
)
then again with a warm caravan and a welcome pack who needs to get closer

I'm sure they will just be vip, the v fest organisers are really strict about giving AAA passes out, i go vip there every year and have never managed to get a AAA laminate. fair play if you have though! there is a viewing area on the side of the main V stage, usualy reserved for family of bands etc
