We are traveling down from Liverpool and we always get directed in West Car Parks.
Does anyone know how we can make sure we get into South Car Parks ???

We got in there last year from A5 Westbound, but I wouldn't advise it, it was a mudbath and took at least 2 hours to get out!

Trying to avoid the nightmare walk to Green campsite and those car parks look slightly nearer......maybe stick with what we know!

Thats why you end up in the west car park. We came that way the first time we went to V and ended up in West. Nightmare distance wise to campsites. We now come down the M6 & A5 which gets you either in the South carpark or the East carpark depending on which they are filling up as you arrive.
Hope that helps!

The south car park is the worst one to be in if it rains.
In 2007 my friends had to be pulled out of the mud in South. Whilst we drove straight out of East!

Many thanks for that, we decided last night after much deliberation to try camping in Blue so will be trying to get into East or south car parks from coming off the M6

We tend to camp in Gold if we end up in South carpark or Blue if in East. Bit of a trek through Gold and Red campsites to get to Blue if you do park in South.
