I've been looking at tickets for sale on the tinternet & noticed loads stating "The much sought after Red Campsite" Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the red & the yellow campsite?

Yellow always used to be a slightly further walk as it was kind of off site, being owned and managed by a third party. Red was always supposidly a bit rowdier with a better atmosphere.

I've been on both and had a great time on each of them. I always go for yellow as I felt there was a bit more space (although this may not be the case these days) and the toilets seemed to be a bit cleaner. I have heard a few people saying the security on yellow was a bit heavy etc. but I guess it could be the same anywhere.

Red does seem to be more sort after but not really sure why. It will be a blast in either so don't worry.

as long as your with all ur friends who cares!!!! weve always stayed in red only cos its nearest and i tend to book my tickets after v each year so always get red!!!!
its not as far to walk lol x
