THIS.
After yesterday, peopel were specualting MH's return due to things said by Sonisphere and the band...
Now there just so happens to be an extra slot reappeared on the lineup poster...MH sized n all.
If Soni do get MH back, you gotta hand it to them, despite bad luck in the pullout department, theyve done a great job at replacing and such. I mean Anthrax with John Bush as a special one off performance = awesome! (and makes up for FF), Saxon>TL...Paradise Lost>The Sword and soil or Buckcherry are better than Frank Turner.

I actually hope it's Slipknot because I was gutted when they pulled out of Reading last year.

you might wanna try not kissing team sonisphere's arse 24/7, its quite unhealthy.
they've lost numerous bands for various reasons, and are making NIN play below a7x and in the light.
I have heard rumours that ticket sales are below the 11,000 mark, that would be amazingly bad.
yay team sonisphere, and thats without mention of them booking an ABBA tribute band on the bill.
quality not quantity eh? - well they certainly dont have the quantity bit, cos half the acts have pulled out.

Yeah, because saying they've done a good job at replacing bands is kissing their arse...it isnt.
Frank Turner pulled out to play R&L's = not TS fault, adn he got repalced with Buckcherry
The sword pulled out due to being tired of touring for so long = not TS fault, got replaced by paradise lost who are great
Thin Lizzy pulled out due to the band breaking up = not TS's fault replaced by Saxon (who i feel are better)
MH pullout not 100% Sonis fault, and they may have got them back
FF didnt get replaced but their pullout was due to legal reasons which wasnt sonispheres fault
Anthrax looked set to pullout due to a band split - but Sonisphere managed to get them to play a special one-off show with one of their best, longer term vocalists John Bush, thats also bloody good.
I mean when Slipknot pulled out of Reading/Leeds the other year they werent they replaced by Bring me the Horizon
Also I laugh at your ticket sales estimate, where'd you get that info...lemme guess you pulled it out of thin air... In before "I Know someone who works at ticketmaster" or whatever...
As for your hilarious pun at the end there about not having quantity, actually they do, as of today theres going to be 25 bands on the main stages, thats more than the 24 originally stated. So yeah, your joke fails.
And for Bjorn again, I aint happy about that, but thats 1 band for me I dont wanna see, Ill go check out Bohemia(because thats why its there), rumours point to Sylosis playing when BA do, and Sylosis are bloody fantastic

You might want to try getting out a bit more pal, your negativity is also quite unhealthy!
Or maybe find a thread for a festival you do actually like instead of bitching about ones you dont!

What else do we have for you on the Apollo Stage? Nine Inch Nails‘ last-ever live gig? Perhaps, it’s certainly Thunder’s. The warm-up for Linkin Park looks like Black Sabbath, sounds like Black Sabbath…hell…they even smell like Black Sabbath: the Heaven & Hell performance looks set to be very special indeed.
The Saturn stage is headlined by Bullet For My Valentine and Avenged Sevenfold with Airbourne, Alice in Chains and what Q magazine calls one of the “hottest things in music” in support. Oh, and did we mention Lamb of God? And Killing Joke? And Anthrax? And Limp Bizkit? We’ve also got some very special guests jetting in and there’re bound to be a few other surprises.

Could it be a band from the Transformers soundtrack? Did any songs from the 1st or 2nd film get much hype and recognition because of it? Excluding Linkin Park of course.
