Has anyone noticed that they are changing the directions for arriving by car? It looks like you have to come in via the A1 this year, any thoughts?

I think its gonna be a nightmare. I'm setting of really early but once the tickets come out everyone will know about this and then everyone will be doing the same thing, setting of early . :-(
Not happy about this. But lets just see how well it works, or not.

In theory it's a good idea, but all it takes is one person to be a bit slow off the mark when they are directing cars and there's gonna be a queue half way down the A1!
Still trying to get hold of an early entry pass to avoid the thursday traffic, humph

You can have mine if you want , despite banging down the door of Glastonbury at 8.00 am Weds
no one seems bothered for turning upto Leeds until late Thursday evening. Leeds is just up the
road from me so I may go for first light Thursday.
Re the new traffice system , its a shame cos I did like Wild Mint Alley !

Me too....Does anyone know if the A64 will reopen on Friday morning? It only looks closed off on the map on the Wed/Thurs. I know you can't use the entrances from the A64 but can you use it to get to the A1M?

From the ticket folder thingy:
Quote
For those of you who know the site, the old car park in Red and the old Brown car park by Rakes Gate are now campsites. Campervans and Tangerine Fields/Myhab camping have moved into the old Brown Car Park at Rakes Gate. Lord Bingley Gate is moving up the hill towards Temple Gate. A site map will be available online before the event.
And the wristband exchanges will be at the gate once again.
