We really don't want Slipknot that low down though do we, as the set time would be so short.

Could be a longer set, just earlier in the day.

I know what you mean, however, imagine is bjorn again were on before heaven and hell. Makes it obvious that it's not them.

I mean it's obviously not going to be them, but they wouldn't want it to be too obvious.

To be fair, we shouldn't overlook the possibility that Bjorn Again have been hired as a cheap way of clearing rubbish from the arena.

Wonder if Slipknot will cover an Abba song as well as the Metallica one?

Did you know that the Chinese spell gullable the same way as we do?

They may yet make an appearance in Bohemia, but I somewhat doubt we'll be seeing them on the main stages.

On the other hand I think Slipknot are very good shouts to play a short, unadvertised set, including an Abba cover and a Metallica cover. I don't think that would close the door to them making a far higher appearance next year.

I'm pretty sure they are playing, I think if they had someone better like Slipknot playing they would announce it to sell more tickets unless they are close to selling out.

I'm not saying it's definately Slipknot, but even if Bjorn Again did play a main stage at this festival, would they really go out of their way to draw attention to themselves?

LOL people are really clutching at straws with the Slipknot rumours...give it up already

Bjorn again are playing, for many that sucks, but someone heavier will be on Bohemia at the time to go check out, aswell as the Jager truck bands

I'm not at all bothered about the idea of them playing. Wouldn't even rule out watching them. But I find the Slipknot rumours no less credible than the idea of Bjorn Again playing as high as Machine Head were initially dropped to.

How's the job going?

They arent playing as high as MH head... MH were originally 3rd on Apollo stage, Bjorn Again are 4th on Saturn (the second mainstage)

I find the slipknot rumours less credible as they havnt been announced, whereas Bjorn again have - and BA self confirmed months ago.

if bjorn again are actually booked to play, it kind of shoots down all the talk of 'quality over quantity' doesn't it? literally any rock/metal band would be a better addition. i don't know if the organisers are taking the piss, but i hope not.

Yep, I don't think anyone would have said much even if it was a kerrang friendly emo band like 30 seconds to mars, Madina Lake etc. Because, for all their faults, they're still not an Abba cover band!

Seriously the hypocracy is unbelievable if they are playing. Remember when Galbraith said they wouldn't be booking the likes of Franz Ferdinand and Lethal Bizzle because they don't fit with the rock/metal style of the festival - how exactly do an Abba tribute band fall under that bracket?!

If they do play, well it would have been nice to have been at the only UK sonisphere.

Seriously. Who is going to buy tickets next year if the organisers are going to waste good slots on gimmick cover bands. To be fair, they belong on the line up and are more relevant than AAF!

yeah, they've seriously f**ked up in some regards with the lineup. but i'm past caring now.

bjorn again, if there, really is taking the piss though.

"this is a rock/metal festival, we're not arctic monkeys or radiohead"

oh no. far from it.

lame.

To be honest with less than 2 weeks to the festival what were you guys really expecting in the last announcement??....cant believe you actually thought slipknot were gona be in that annoncemnt and accept a spot like 4th down on the 2nd stage lol...if they were gona be announced it would of been the day after download. seriously tho all i was expecting in the final announcment was a couple of small shitty bands like madina lake etc....but no they surprise us with an abba tribute band....and once iv had a load of beers down my neck i certainly know what i would rather be listening and singing along too!! :P
