I have to say, I do like a nice campfire.

How does this sit with Beautiful Days?
Are campfires allowed? Frowned upon?
Is there wood available?

That kind of stuff. :lol:

Its not like Glastonbury where an area can get turned over and refertalised. Its a working events location. So no heat on the ground at all (it kills the bugs and nutrients immediately under it, effectively sterilizes it, and so the grass dies soon after). This means raised BBQs only.

There is at least one 'fire pit' set up by the dance tent.

At least I won't be arriving on site with 20 extra kg of firewood... that's a relief..

Better make other preparations for potentially chilly nights...

Seriously, if I can't have a real fire, then warm fluffy clothes will be the order of the night...

This year I shall not be carrying wood from one of the festival to the other - or bags of coal - or bottles of gas - or that lighter fluid some of you were drinking a year or two ago! :lol:

nah you'll be driving it there and most definatley not carrying it.
