Does anyone know the situation re taking alcohol. Last year there was a limit (which was fair enough) but can't find any advice this year apart from the leaflet that came with the tickets that say no alcohol allowed on site and random searches will be carried out. I remember last year there was no glass (with someone giving out plastic bottles to decant your drinks into (which was good idea) and some poor people who had excessive amounts of drink were trying to down cases of cider at the gates at 10 in the morning lol.

It's Ok just found on the FAQ on the site that alcohol is allowed in reasonable amounts up until Thursday night after that the venue's licence kicks in.

Think booze is fine as long as its in plastic bottles or cans and before 8 or 10pm as thats when their license kicks in. check that website for exact details
