This was officially one of my highlights of the whole festival.

Considering my planned big names included Pendulum, The Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal, Nick Cave and Madness, Paolo Nutini was not really someone I planned to see but on a raining friday afternoon we stopped to see him in a small tent in Croissant Neuf.  What a great decision!

Video Link thingy

Great performer!

Each to their own and everything but I don't know how anyone can think his performances look anything other than retarded.

A month ago I would probably agreed with you, and seeing him on Jonathan Ross at the weekend would probably back that up. He spent nearly the whole track bent double with his eyes shut!

Having now seen him in the flesh in a small venue, he has a good live voice, gets an atmosphere building and seems to have a great time on stage.  I can honestly say I had a great time and would make an effort to see him again. Which suprised me!

Steve Knightley ( from Show of Hands ) followed  Paolo Nutinin - and commented it was a hard act to follow - not sure exactly if it was a compliment tho ??

Shame that the hundreds who were there didn't stay - they missed a real blinder of a set ...see below
