There'll be a Michael Jackson one soon, you can just bet on it. Something like:

"MJ was poisoned by Jordy Chandler. Because obvious connection to serial killer Ted Bundy (the last two letters of Chandler's Christian name and Bundy's surname are IDENTICAL) and because Michael still hadn't given him back his favourite teddy, and was unable to whilst alive due to the restraining order."

I'd suggest that the Machevellian forces of capitalism, corporatism, socialism and organised religion are conspiracies that you'd be inclined to believe due to evidence.

If conspiracy is seen as a by-word for something lacking any evidence then people are bound to disbelieve it due to lack of evidence.

Its not just the moon landing. It's space in general. All a conspiracy, made up by world leaders after the first vessell capable of leaving the planet crashed into the thick glass that surrounds the planet. Truth is no one knows what's on the other side....

(Sorry that was the most mental thing I could think of)

Aliens being involved in instigating leaps forward in technology is one I enjoy... don't believe it of course, but it's a nice idea

This is one that I have mentioned to a few people at meets!! I really think it could be true!! B):D

On a serious note though....did anyone watch the conspircay thing on the Beeb a couple of weeks ago about the conspiracy theories of the London 7/7 bombings? Also included some info on the 9/11 conspiracies too.

Was supposed to be an "un-biased" look into to them but ended up being a more "it's not true...why? cos we say so"

Some interesting points raised and it makes you think really..........

I think a lot of the time there will be grains of truth in a lot of them but then they have been blown out of all proportion.

For example if you look at Bilderberg group - they do exist and you would be stupid to think that the most influential business men/woman dont get together and draw out some sort of economic plan for the future. A private G8 as it were. But as to weather they select the next president, that is a different matter. The chances are they just have good political advisers who know who they should back. Its a case of them backing the winner not them choosing the winner. Similar to Murdoch in the UK, people say he decides the election, I would argue he just bandwagons along with who ever he thinks will win so he has influence when they do.

There's loads of stuff. The context of it as well (USSR beating USA into space to begin with) but to be fair, it is very possible the first moon landing wasn't actualy the first moon landing.

The propaganda victory there is outstanding. People bang on about putting a man on the moon, that was just a small step compared to putting a man in space. But because the yanks sent the man to the moon and the evil empire put the first man on space we doggedly see the man on the moon being the all important end of the space race.
