Hi we all last went to Beni 2007 and stayed in Bonterra, major luxury compared to free camping site pool, bar, nice showers etc. Just wondered if anyone else was also party wartying there? I am so excited it's not even funny!

Yo, yeah were camping at bonterra, much prefer the idea tbh, looks really decent.
Do they have lockers to keep your stuff in? I presume they would have.
2 pools, electricity, bar etc etc. Is right!
Cannot f**king wait for this!

Yeah you can put your passports and other small documents in safety deposit boxes, Bonterra emailed this to me the other day:
"we have small safes, for passports, documentation, money and that kind of things.
The daily rate depends on how many days you hire them. For example, the total cost for 7 night is 8.77 euros. You have to pay this when you pick the keys up and a 3 euros deposit (you get it back at the end of your stay)".
Although last time I was more careless and just left my things in the tent, I'll prob get a box this time though.
I doubt you can book a place now although worth a try.
It's brilliant there supermarket across the street, go over get the old beers and vodka make a ridiculously big sandwich and chill out after the beach before the festival! Last time I was at Bonterra was 2007.

For those who have stayed at bonterra before.
Just reading about the pitches..
What are the gold pitches like? I believe the green pitches are specifically for tents.
Is there sufficient shading/trees on the gold pitches and are they on grass or gravel???
The green pitches had sold out when I originally enquired a few months back so had to go for a gold pitch, just a little concerned we are gonna be on a massive gravelled, unshaded area, which for 2 x 3 man tents would be abit shit
Thanks for any help.

We stayed there last year, couldn't book for just a few days this year for some reason. The green pitches were 'earthy' (ie no grass left due to the heat) and with trees. These are located just behind the fence to one of the festival campsites and you can hear the noise!!!
All the pitches have tree coverage. The campsite is fab. There are pitches with a combination of: gravel only for tents and cars, larger hard standing and gravel pitches and hardstanding pitches for caravans/cars, mobile homes. I think someone said the gravel was more comfortable to sleep on although quite big. A three man tent and a car left plenty of room on our green pitch to be honest.
Would you want to sell a small section of your gold pitch to us from Thursday afternoon till early Monday morning?
We loved Bonterra last year. The cafe did really good food which was well priced. We were gonna try and get a pitch Thursday when we get there but it looks like its all been taken. Give me a shout on here if you're interested in getting a bit of your money back on what you've paid? It's just two of us (one of each!!)
Cheers
