Does anyone know what the situation is with e tickets? I won 2 on ebay, ahve yet to pay for them and am now worried that I won't get in if it's not my name on the ticket. The guy I'm buying them off says there is his mam's name (persume she bought the tickets) and his address on them, sure he'd hardly have to bring his mother if he was going himself would he?
Did read on the festival website that id needs to match the tickets, no photocopies. Do people think or should go ahead and buy them or what?
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi, I'm sure I've read about scams with these E-tickets. I personally wouldn't purchase any. I was under the impression people are making numerous copies of the same e-tickets and selling the copies to lots of people. When you get to the festival they are going to scan the barcode on the ticket. Only one person is going to be able to get in with this ticket.... I would be wary if you are going to buy one of these.

1. DocumentationTo get your wristband, you must present:

- Your National ID Card (DNI), Foreign Resident ID Card (NIE) or passport (only originals; photocopies will not be accepted)
- Your physical ticket or your confirmation e-mail or your ‘print-at-home’ confirmation

I've got an E-Ticket as well with my sisters name on it but as far as i'm aware there isnt any problem with it.  I think they're asking for ID with regards to your age, it doesnt mention anything to say that it has to match the name on the ticket.

We've never needed to supply ID at wristband exchange before. Bought someone's e-tickets last year and had no problems - get a scan of the card used to book and a signed note stating they've transferred the tickets to your name if you're concerned, but I really wouldn't worry..

Yeah my mate has been banging on about taking a passport to the wristband exchange but I was saying thats a crock of sh1t as they have no way to link the purchaser to the ticket holders.  If this was the case they'd make it like Glasto with the photographic applications for tickets.

However I think I'll go through on the Tuesday with my passport just in case.

Surely a European drivers licence would suffice as ID?
