I reckon if it's not them it will probably be Pendulum or more likely Prodigy who would be down as special guests due to playing Reading.

Like I posted in the other thread, possible bands could be Hives, Prodigy, Pendulum, or Slipknot.
They're all free on the Sunday and have played some of the other Sonisphere festivals in other countries, but fear Prodigy and Slipknot are wayyyy too big to play that slot, so I'd say Pendulum.
Although if it is Prodigy or Slipknot it would be insanely good, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up
The fact they're still not announced does point to it being someone from a festival that's yet to take place though, most likely Leeds/Reading. God I'm starting to think it might actually be Prodigy now.
I'm guessing not announcing them until the day they play wouldn't affect exclusivity too much as it's too late for it to affect ticket sales by then, so nobody who was in two minds would choose to go to Sonisphere instead of L/R because they could see Prodigy there instead.

Down start their American tour on 3rd August. Guess it depends on if they're already over this way as I can't see them coming over last minute just to play a 45-50 minute set, before heading straight back.

This is not written by someone in the band, they will be playing. I doubt they would give an hour to Pendulum, Prodigy yes. Why would Pendulum be given 20 more mins than Lamb of God? Prodigy would not play that early in the day, they have always said that they prefer to headline 2nd stages than take slots earlier in the day at festivals so it won't be them, Machine Head are in the UK and I still think it will be them as on the main site forum the fanboy police have been taking down any thread that includes Machine Head.
I will be waiting for Machine Head to come out on stage
