What's the best way?

I'm arriving in Alicante on Tuesday morning, I was going to book a train, but even after translating the site into English I can't really make head or tail of the Renfe website... when I click the Trolley Icon to buy tickets I get redirected to another Spanish page...

I'd be happy to go by coach - can anyone reccomend a coach company?

Thanks,

x

The site seems to have gone a bit strange if you put in the details on the first English page and click on the basket another window comes up in Spanish, enter your search in again on the form on the left hand side and click on buscar and it will bring up what trains are available in English, the rest of the form is also in English so you should be able to buy tickets from there.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

Would it be a better option to go to Castellon and get a bus from there? There seem to be more trains running to Castellon and I've heard the buses are very frequent? Do I need to book a bus in advance or do I just jump in a queue when I get there? Any ideas of cost for the buses and will the queues be hellish on the Tuesday?

My friend is arriving early on the Monday and pitching our tent so I'm not too worried about getting a space...

The buses from Castellon are normal local buses so you'd just jump in a queue.  As for whether its a better option or not I guess it just depends on how leisurely you want to make your journey I personally would just get the one train and save carrying luggage around so much.
