used the iplayer obviously, now that it works on non windows machines-but never bothered seeing if i could watch stuff as it airs on tv

I love how it seems every other performance they show is some awful in-studio affair. As if there wasn't enough music to show from the actual festival.

does anyone know the field in which it had all the lights, and mushroom thingys...
it was on in the friday bit while it was showing that awful English rap band with the girl singing lol

It's just the BBC studio area. You can't actually go there. It's not even part of the festival really, but you know...music.
That rap group you were talking about where playing in the Orange Charge and Chill tent on Sunday. Very soul-destroying.

After seeing Franz Ferdinand I'm very glad I stayed at the Pyramid to see Bruce Springsteen.
BTW is it just me or does the sound seem really rubbish compared to how I remember it in real life, or was that just due to the beer???

yeah! the sound does sound abit crappy on the tv ...

it always sounds and looks flat on tv. almost depressing enough to make me not watch. but not quite.

Where were Amadou and Mariam playing when it was dark? Looked like Jazzworld. I thought they were only playing on the Pyramid before Tom Jones on Sunday?

Was this in relation to bruce singing born to run. because that sounded flat as to me on the telly, but in real life...it sounded great. I think.

Thats quite pointless, as people mostly watch it for the bands playing on the stages..
and besides the Bands that the bbc stage play are crap
