I keep thinking back to what I was doing last week.

At this moment I was heading into the John Peel tent for one of the highlights of the weekend - F*cked Up.

Are you as sad as me  ;)

What were you doing this time last week?

I was chilling in the glorious afternoon sunshine and listening to the sounds of Golden Silvers drifting over my campsite from The Park

Well... the rain had just stopped... I know that...
I think I was having a cider in Swine & Roses.. after which, it was a stroll back to the tent, via Red Snapper at the Glade..  ;)

i just staggered out off f**ked Up at the John Peel Stage and was mightily impressed. I didn't know them before but  a friend highly suggested to go and see them and as am not averse to a bit of loud music it was certainly the most heavy gig i have ever seen at glasto, and a lot of credit needs to go to the frontman for absolutely having it at 2pm and crowdsurfing through out the gig while belting out proper tunes....poor stewards though who had to keep feeding his mic cable over the crowds..

one of my absolute highlights this year.....and then it only got better and better

It's almost exactly a week since NERD had the plug (deservedly) pulled on them, just prior to me meeting my friends for the great Lily/Specials/Streets skanking/dancing fest!

QFE - I had three people with me who were there because of my recomendation (having seen them late last year)

They were all as impressed as you were!!

Around now though, I was trudging upto the acoustic stage for 15 minutes of Hugh Cornwell, and praying it wouldn't start raining again.

Man, this is making me sad thinking about this!

I know exactly where I was.

I was drinking half pints of white wine from the wine bar opposite Orange chill n charge.
The sun was shining. The company was great and the music from a nearby soundsystem fantastic.

I sooooooo want to be there now.

NERD over ran their set time due to the time it took to set up the two drum kits, tis a shame because they were really quite good.

They were pissing around setting up and then moaning about the possibility that they'd get cut short when people had paid "$200" to come and see them. They ignored the warnins that they'd get pulled (presumably cos they're so egotistical) and seemed perturbed when it happened.

I'll be seeing them again at Lovebox in a couple of weeks and hope they behave more graciously, as i actually thought they were pretty good once they got going!
