The Mouse Circus.

Wandering on Sunday (I think) and went from the Acoustic tent, via kids area to the circus bit on the way to Avalon. On the cusp of the transition from Kidz to Circus on the right is a small caravan with a sign "mouse circus". Turns out it's an act with 2 women dressed as magicians assistants, each wearing a glove puppet mouse which then perform circus tricks. I was coming down at the time and had a few drinks to take the edge off but it was the most bizarre thing I've seen all festival. Strangely compelling though.
Second weirdest has to go to the 1920's boxing ring.

Ah, I think this was the thing DaveMac was telling us about. I shall definitely look out for it next year.

You are right Nina but Staberinde (Gordon) tipped me off about it.
Was very surreal and done with utmost seriousness by the 2 lady performers.
The more I think about it the more I liked it. Was very charming with old fashioned 30s-40s music as the background soundtrack.
At the end of the performance lots of kids run up to shake hands with the mice ! Wonderful !!!
A couple of pics may give you some idea ...

Unusual and entertaining little show. Highly recommended !
