Help ! I've heard some bad stories about the falafels but my mate told me there were some great ones in there somewhere. Thing is I'm a vegan so a bit worried about eating generally and was reling on falafels to get me through but if they're bad I'm not so sure now ?

Have any of you peeps had any bad experiences with a falafel ? Where's the best place for the nice one ?

Thx

Ya ! Benicassim yes, so you didn't have any problems with them ?

How much are they and do you know where abouts on the site they are also is there a best time to get them or are there always bigs queues ?

I think you can go outside during the day into a town or something is there much vegan food to be had there ? I do eat some seafood ( crabs, molluscs, prawns etc ) so I guess theres some of that then ?

Thnk loads xxxx

Benicassim is in provincial area in a county that likes it's meat I don't fancy your chances.  A typical Spanish vegetarian dish will contain tuna or some other kind of meat and you'll get funny looks if you ask for una comida sin carne.

Best remember the phrase:

Soy vegetariano.  ¿Tiene algo sin carne?

My friend said it was in the EU now that they had to give you a vegetarian or vegan option if they are doing meals and if they didn't i should make a complaint, do they mostly speak english in the cafes because i don't no any spanish to complain in ?

i can eat chicken as well but i don't like it much so i hope i don't have to eat too much of that.

Er? I think you might be better off explaining politely that you are a vegetarian and ask if they would be happy to prepare you something without meat in rather than telling a restauranteur (in a language you don't speak) what they should and shouldn't be be cooking?

There are normally two or three areas selling food inside the festival, they are not difficult to find.  And the Falafels are very good.  The last time I went there was also a turkish restaurant on the the main strip in the town that sold decent falafels too.

I think you ought to head straight for the saladia emergency area you can see on the map. I think that is spanish for emergency salads.

Apparently this troll eats felafells.  Are they the same as felafels?  I did enjoy the climb-down from veganism though.
