Hi everyone,

We all had the most amazing Glasto this year, there was a real mix of glasto pro's and glasto virgins in our group and on sunday 7 of us dressed up as Smurfs, it was wicked, we had so many photos taken and met so many smurf lovers, I was wondering if anyone on efestivals saw us and if so if they have any photos of them with us they'd like to share either via facebook or on the forum.

Also our campsite was marked with a 10 metre high flag marked "CLUNGE" it got loads of attention too and we wondered if anyone has any photos of it at Pennards Hill, around the site or at stages? We've started a facebook group " The Glastonbury CLUNGE Flag! " feel free to join and add any pictures!

Take care everyone, can't wait till next year   :D

My mate shook your hand and congratulated you on your flag before the Ting Tings and then had his photo taken with you.

We were camped near Clunge! It was our beacon of where to enter the field to find our tent. Kept seeing it out and about during the day too - excellent flag!!

I'm with russy on this one. Flags being funny doesn't stop them getting in the bloody way.

I know what you mean about flags getting in the way, but I thought a 10 metre high one wouldn't get in anyones way (unless they where far too tall! )

didnt carrying it around all day get annoying though? (serious question, not trying to start a fight!) and why did you take it away from your camping area - so you could easily find each other or as a bit of an attention seeking thing? (again, not looking for a fight! just trying to understand the flag-carrier a bit better)

I didn't have to carry the flag all weekend  :D , the others took it in turns, people seemed to love the clunge so it was great to take it out with us, it's so handy having a flag to aim for, and there's nothing funnier than seeing the mighty clunge coming towards you in the crowd! ;)

You'd think so, wouldn't you. The trouble is that the stages are normally on a hill and even tall flags can get directly in your line of sight. During Springsteen there were som many that they were blocking the screens too. So, those of us without a hope in hell of seeing the stage couldn't even see the screens.

Not sure about pighead guy! we where to the left of the stage as you look at it, quite close to water aid stall and the big containers people stood on, did you see us?

I'm beginning to get "LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! I'M KER-AZY!" vibes off this fellow
