stick something under the metal clamp and just keep prising it from each end till you can slip it off.

Mine just slipped off over my hand with a little bit of force.

Yeah, i take a Leather man to mine when i need to take it off, takes a bit of effort, but its worth it. You can put it on again next year :-)

you could try wetting it, it seems to make it easier to take off

get some pliers and squash it in the direction its not squashed, then back in the direction it was squashed, bend it like that about 10 times, and it'll bend and break and then you can just tie it on with a bow if you want to wear it again or something. Did that prior to 2008, still got the 08 one on *yuk*

You're as bad as my lad. Just grow up. Cut it off. And bin it. And then get your hair cut for god's sake!

Did wrist bands only first appear in 2002 ?
I have one for 02/03/04/05/07/08/09 but nothing from 97/98/99/00 ?

Am I the only person that can quite easily take them off and put them back on again? Ive got loads from past festivals, all still perfectly in tact, and i can put them on any time (not that I do, but just keep them as souvenirs)

Mine has gone and joined the wall of bands. 12 a year, and this year Glasto was a EPO Zebra band...
I never keep them on, as I know what festivals I have been to, and I don't feel the need to let other folk know. I went there, and the memories are in my head, not on a band on my wrist..
I do keep all the bands as a tally though over my workstation..

I've only just taken my 2007 one off! For some reason my wrist doesn't look right withought something on it and I hate watches and am not hippy or surfery enough to get away with much else!! I would have kept 2007 on if it wasn't all frayed - it looked quite pathetic next to last years and this year's pristine versions.

Think they started in 02 with the superfence, certainly didn't have them in 97, they just stamped your hand with invisible UV ink. (this is not a joke! that was how slack the security was in those days).

Mine is still on
I've worn previous wristbands for over 3 years
