There will be a price list on here somewhere for food prices last year - check threads around the dates of teh festival. You are looking £3 for plain burger/bacon butty, up to about £6 for the larger or more 'specialist' foods

Beer I think is about £20 a crate inside (don't know if they are doing the cold beer exchange this year) but maybe £14 or £15 outside? or supermarket prices if you walk to one.

If i'm correct I think it was £20 for Carling and £25 for Grolsh or Kronenbourg.

why don't you take a bit of booze with you to last you the first night, get up early and take the car to a supermarket?  get some decent fresh grub for the day then too!

With the ever rising price of crates of alcohol in the supermarket would it not just be easier to buy there, I know you wont get the selection but £20- £25 is a little more expensive than supermarkets maybe by lik £2 by the time you have used effort and petrol, then run the risk of getting pulled over for drunk driving I think its much easier to buy in festival.

But each to their own.

Either that or just get passangers to sit on the crates or get creates on there knees, there will be someway of getting it all in lol.

After all they fit like 18 people in a mini!

I've never been pulled for drunk driving while taking booze home from the supermarket.... if you are suggesting they might be because they are driving from the festival to the supermarket and back, then that is a possibility I guess (though leaving the festival on Monday morning every year I have yet to see them breathalising people) but as long as you are not drink driving there'll be no problem.

Asda and tesco were doing 3 boxes of bottles or crates of cans for £20 last time I looked!

However, as Kev says, you can get alot in a car if you need to! I rememberone year you could hardly see the 2 in the back seat of mine for all the stuff we piled on top of them! (including the parcel shelf!)
