You've got so many amazing pics, going to go through them all later and relive it all a bit more (although that's all I've been doing anyway ;) )

It was rather a surreal feeling to fly from little ol' New Zealand to go to Glastonbury , and to photograph it as well.

Some of you may have seen me....

I was wearing the "World Tour '09" T-shirt on...

Had a long series of events on the back.

Rhythm and Vines
Global Underground
Glastonbury
Dance Valley
Global Gathering
etc
etc

My Glastonbury 2009 efforts are here:

Some highlights:

The obligatory Flag Shot:

I don't feel like I ever got into a proper photographic groove over the weekend, but then again I was pretty music-focused this year. If I were going to bring an SLR again then I would definitely bring a proper-height tripod - the Gorillapod basically never got used because there was never anything to put it on. Also I would take a night out just as a photo night, maybe on the Wednesday or Thursday, and focus on getting some good shots. That Boston Globe / Big Picture portfolio has humbled us all!

Can I be so rude as to ask what gear you were using?

These shots are a mixture of mostly Canon 20D + 28-135mm IS / 17-40mm F4L and a few of them are from my little Panasonic Lumix FX37.

I tended to put my "big camera" away in a lockup in the evenings which means I missed some good shots but also meant I could concentrate on soaking it all in and not worrying about loss or theft...

I slept with my 40D tucked into my Sleeping Bag by my feet.

Mine are all online now in the glasto photo section. Overall I wasn't very satisfied with my output this year (like I ever am!   ) - had some equipment problems (focus stopped working past 135mmm on my zoom lens), but I had a new 35mm/1.8 lens with me that I've been trying out and getting some nice low-light results:
