A bunch of lads stood infront of us where adament that Elton John was one of the special guests on the park stage....you can imagine the disappointment on their faces when the blokes from Supergrass walked out onto the stage instead.

no libertines then? I heard i couple of rumours they played this weekend. Cant image pete had it in him either way after seeing his own set. he looked / sounded battered!

i thought dead weather were amazing. and when jack picked up a guitar for the last track, i was in heaven.
but to be honest, if jack had picked his nose for an hour i'd be telling you all it was amazing too

Alison Mosshart gets the most rock'n'roll moment award from me. coming on stage smoking a j. Dead Weather were fantastic, shame i left just before the last song...

Dead Weather where brilliant. Really enjoyed them. in fact it was a great day in the Park.
