So I take it the 'health & safety' act pulled out? What a bunch of spin!

I'm fairly sure that Emily was refering to Dead Weathers. This was clearly an over exaggeration but it does make Jack White the first Pyramid headliner to have played The Park (unless I'm forgetting anyone)
I thought they were alright.

Wrong. Alex Turner played last year with Last Shadow Puppets. Also this year was the second time Jack had played the stage.

TBH, I was a bit miffed off when Hot Rats came on. Had hoped the early slot was going to be Dead Weather and the later slot a bit more "health and safety issue", Libertines, Muse (yeah right) or even The Killers as an outside bet.
EE definately over cooked the weight of the surprise guests slots, someone more cynical would say it was spin to get you up to the Park?
Thought the Hot Rats were a waste of time but enjoyed The Dead Weather, a bit.

stayed behind after shlomo at the park on saturday expecting the klaxons, but when their roadies came out as characters from the wizard of oz, I thougth (prayed) it might be the arctic mondays. Didn't they dress up like that for one of their videos?
Klaxons were great though. Got themselves a very boistrous mosh pit going (especially the nutcase in the blue shirt), which I watched from the comfort of the hill

Klaxons was no surprise though, they had been confirmed days earlier.
