is it possible to buy tents at the campsite so i dont have to book one on my flight?

Depends where you camping.
You could be in the middle of a jungle somewhere for all we know.
In any case, look out for the guy with a big sign that reads 'TENTS HERE' - but be sure to ask to smell the sign before purchase, if written with faeces, for your own safety - abort immediately. This is a trick, and you or your friend will be later used as a human sacrifice.
Enjoy your trip.
