I'm chuffed to bits about this, it means I dont have to hike all the way over there on the off chance that someone decent might be playing.
Didnt they say they wouldnt be announcing the act due to crowd safety reasons?

They tend to hype things up a little bit.
First we had four headliners, the fourth being a major band. Well, that sort of didn't come through. October 5th they said, that unlike previous years, they would give away bits of the line-up along the way instead of doing it all at once. Now, I didn't notice enything different compared to previous years. I think they were just scared they wouldn't sell out (again). Hype things up and get ticket sales going. It worked!
But now they're hyping up The Park Stage special guest positions. But why hint at Muse if for example Anthony & The Johnsons would play. It had to be a major, of fairly big rockband, not to disappoint lots of people. Aaah well, I couldn't care less, it's just my first time, it'll be massive no matter what!

In fairness, they didn't hint at Muse, that was hyperbole in the press.
And from their perspective, the last time the Klaxons played, they drew a headliner sized crowd.
